FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

‘Bridge the Gap’ with IACC’s 18th Annual Strategic Management Conference

(MINNEAPOLIS, April 13, 2006) For the 18th year running, collection professionals will meet to bridge the gap between where their companies are and where they’d like them to be, as the International Association of Commercial Collectors (IACC) holds its annual Strategic Management Conference in San Diego, July 8-9, at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego.

During the daylong conference agency owners, CEOs, attorneys and other executive-level professionals in the commercial collection field will learn from each other’s mistakes and victories, hardships and conquests. In addition to networking opportunities, attendees will take in educational sessions on topics imperative to the commercial collection business.

Agenda highlights of this year’s conference include: • Employee Management Review: Have you ever wondered if your staff is as productive as it can be? Is it difficult to figure out how to measure productivity and determine how to maximize efficiency? Join industry leaders in this workshop to evaluate management methods. • Psychology of Sales—Understanding the Personality of Your Prospect: How do you gain prospective clients’ trust and build a strong working relationship? Do you know your buyer’s personality type? Presented by Jody Sievert, One by One Companies, Lenox, Mass. • How to Grow Your Business: roundtable discussion moderated by Mike Daugherty, vice president, Synter Resource Group, Charleston, S.C. Panelists include Randy Frazee, president, Randall & Richards, Tucson, Ariz.; Martin Goldman, principal, Law Offices of Martin F. Goldman, Los Angeles; Tom Haag, president, State Collection Service, Madison, Wis.; and Jay Tenenbaum, Seales & Tenenbaum, Anaheim, Calif. • Burning Issues and Hot Topics in the Commercial Collection Industry: This roundtable discussion is a tradition for the Strategic Management Conference. Attendees enjoy the format and take away a great deal of information from the session. This will be an opportunity to discuss the hottest issues in the industry and provides the perfect environment to network with some of the industry’s top professionals.

Early registration discounts are available until June 1. Discounted registration rates begin at $200 for IACC members and $415 for nonmembers. To download the registration form online, visit the IACC Web site at http://www.commercialcollector.com.
