Trust your collections to an IACC Certified Commercial Collection Agency

The International Association of Commercial Collectors (IACC) offers the Certified Commercial Collection Agency Program as a way for agencies to demonstrate their professionalism and devotion to providing quality collection services. This unique mark of distinction is awarded after an extensive application and assessment process determines that the agency meets or exceeds the program’s standard operational guidelines.

The IACC Certified Commercial Collection Agency Program requires a two-part application process. Part one requests basic information about the agency, its various locations and copies of bond and license documents. Upon meeting these basic requirements, the agency submits part two of the application, including specific documents, to the independent certified public accounting (CPA) firm hired by IACC. The CPA firm will then contact the agency directly to request sample financial information for dates specified by the auditor. Once the auditor receives all the required documentation from the applicant, the CPA firm will contact IACC to notify the association whether the agency qualifies for certification status. Certified Commercial Collection Agencies must renew the certification each year.
