A limited number of rooms are blocked for ACA and IACC attendees; therefore, we cannot guarantee rooms will be available through the reservation deadline. Make your reservations early! To receive ACA & IACC’s group rate, be sure to book using the reservation link above. For those looking to extend their stay, group rate is also available beginning Saturday, July 13 based on hotel availability at the time of booking. Group rate is not available after Wednesday, July 24 due to ComicCon. Credit card is required to hold your reservation. Room cancellations must be submitted directly to the hotel at least three (3) days prior to arrival or otherwise one night’s room, fees and taxes will be charged.

Optional Urban Destination Fee

The Urban Destination Fee of $35 per night is OPTIONAL for those booking inside the ACA room block. It can be added to your room at check-in time or by calling the hotel. This fee includes Premium Guestroom Internet, $15 Food & Beverage Credit for use in hotel restaurants and bars (excluding tax & gratuity), 1-hour bicycle or kayak rental; bike locker rental; transportation to Coronado Island and beach; PressReader; daily bottled water.

San Diego International Airport (SAN) is located 4.4 miles (10-15 minutes) from the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. In addition to car rental and taxi, ground transportation options to/from SAN include Lyft and Uber.

Registration and Cancellation
By registering for and/or attending an International Association of Commercial Collectors, Inc. (“IACC”) event, you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to IACC’s policies listed on this page and included elsewhere on its website and during the registration process, located at
https://www.commercialcollector.com/2024-mid-year-convention/. If you decide to cancel after registration, a full refund minus a $75 processing fee will be provided but only for cancellations received by IACC in writing no later than June 7, 2024. No refunds will be granted for cancellations received by IACC on or after June 8, 2024. Registrations may not be transferred to another individual unless approved by IACC. No refunds will be given for no-shows. IACC reserves the right to cancel any meeting.

Photos and Recording Notice
By registering for and/or attending an IACC event, you authorize IACC to use your image and/or voice in any promotional or informational material produced by or on behalf of IACC. This includes, without limitation, video, audio and photographs which may be distributed in Scope, on the IACC website, event recap videos, future event promotions, photo libraries, social media, and email.

Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability  
By registering for and/or attending this event and/or attending any functions or sessions listed as on the event agenda, including those listed as “[Interest Group]” events, you acknowledge and agree that International Association of Commercial Collectors, Inc. (“IACC”) is not responsible for any injury, claim, liability or other cause of action of any kind based upon or resulting from your participation in the event. You assume all risk and accept
sole responsibility for any injury (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind (“Claims”), that you may experience or incur in connection with attending the event. Additionally, you release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless IACC and its affiliates, and their officers, directors, managers, employees, agents, shareholders, members, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”), of and from any such Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. Registrant and/or attendee acknowledges and understands that functions and sessions listed as an ‘[Interest Group]” on the event agenda are not hosted by IACC, but rather are hosted solely by attendees and/or other third parties. Registrant Information-Sharing
IACC may provide personal registrant information, including, without limitation, the names, addresses, phone numbers and/or e-mail addresses of attendees and their guests, to Hotel, and IACC may receive personal guest reservation details from Hotel for event-related meeting planning and contract fulfilment purposes. Your registration information will be shared with exhibitors and sponsors of the event as noted when you register. IACC
may also contact you regarding your event participation or Hotel stay based on registration and reservation information received. You agree to receive communications from IACC, which may include marketing and promotional emails regarding IACC’s products and services. You can change your preferences at any time.

COVID-19 Policy for In-Person Events
Although COVID-19 remains with us despite the formal end to the national health emergency, we have reached a point in the pandemic where we possess tools and resources to better protect ourselves and our communities from infection and spread. For that reason, IACC expects attendees to take responsibility themselves for following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other public health agencies on measures to reduce
infection from and spread of COVID-19.

IACC cannot be held liable for COVID-19 cases arising because of event attendance. By registering for and/or attending an IACC event, you (a) acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death, (b) voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any Claims that you may experience or incur, and (c) hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless ACA and the other Released Parties from Claims of any kind arising out of or relating thereto.

Sunny Beaches

Ocean Beach
Just north of Point Loma, this small beach town is a favorite among locals for its blissful mix of activities and pastimes, including surfing, sunbathing near the pier and strolling among the many surf shops, taco stands and unique local boutiques. Coronado Beach
The long sandy beaches here are special and literally sparkle, thanks to the mineral mica in its golden sand. A drive across the sweeping, 200-foot-high San Diego-Coronado Bridge treats you to one of the best views in all of San Diego, as you descend upon the charming and picturesque oceanfront community of Coronado. A day at the beach is a must, along with a stroll past Orange Avenue's shops and restaurants, and a pint of local suds at the award-winning Coronado Brewing Company. Coronado is also a popular stop on the Old Town Trolley Tour and can be accessed from Downtown using the Coronado Ferry or a water taxi.
Imperial Beach
Imperial Beach is just five miles north of the Mexico border, and includes a 4-mile stretch of beach offering a host of activities including great surfing, sport fishing, beach volleyball and horseback riding along the coast. The Imperial Beach pier provides sweeping views of the Los Coronados Islands and is a popular spot for strolling, pier fishing and watching the sunset. Imperial Beach is connected to Coronado by way of the Silver Strand, a narrow, 7 mile long isthmus, popular for camping, bird watching and bicycling.
Mission Beach
Mission Beach is San Diego’s lively take on the classic boardwalk beach town with nearly two miles of oceanfront boardwalk, numerous rental shops and Belmont Park, a boardwalk amusement park, featuring the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, originally built in 1925 but since restored, the Beach House Grill, miniature golf, bumper cars, rock climbing and an arcade.
Pacific Beach
One of the beaches in San Diego's Mission Bay & Beaches region, P.B.
